EVENT DETAILS
Entry: $100 (includes both players)
Time:
Saturday, 26th of September 11:00am
Format:
Two-Headed Giant Sealed.
30 minutes deckbuilding.
3 rounds of Swiss, 50 minutes, best-of-one, with a maximum of 5 minutes in overtime.
Prizing:
2 play boosters per player per round win (1 for each player in the case of a draw), plus 1 play booster for entry.
This event is recommended for ages 16 and up.
HOW DOES A PRERELEASE WORK?
Players will receive a sealed box containing 6 packs and 1 foil rare or mythic, plus 2 additional packs. Players will build two 40 card decks (one each) containing only the cards from their box, and basic lands, which will be provided. Players will compete in 3 rounds of a swiss-paired tournament where each win grants them 2 packs each, and they'll each earn an additional pack just for entering. Rounds go for 50 minutes each, and players will be expected to be familiar with the rules of Magic the Gathering.
IMPORTANT NOTE: ( Two-Headed Giant's pre release structure has changed please read the above changes). (1 Sealed kit between two players and an extra two packs for players to build their decks).
