30 minutes drafting.
3 rounds of Swiss, 50 minutes, best-of-three, with a maximum of 5 minutes in overtime.
Prizing:
All players receive 1 additional pack from the set at the conclusion of the event.
This event is recommended for ages 16 and up.
HOW DOES A DRAFT WORK?
Players will receive three Play Booster packs of the set, and be seated in a pod (ideally of 8 players, but can vary slightly based on attendance). Players will then have 30 minutes to draft the packs (opening one pack at a time, picking a card and passing the pack around within the pod) to assemble a collection of cards from which they'll build a 40-card deck (also with as many basic lands as they need, borrowed from our instore land station). Players will then play 3 rounds of Swiss (Best-of-three), with each round lasting 50 minutes (with a maximum of 5 minutes in overtime).
