General Games Terms of Service

Payment Terms
Full payment for both the items and any postage fees are required before any product is shipped.

This website accepts these payment options, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Union Pay, JCB. Paypal and Afterpay.

All transactions are calculated in Australian Dollars, and any refunds (full or partial) will be processed using the same payment method.

All transactions on this website are inclusive of GST.

Terms of Sale
When you place an order, you are entering a Contract of Sale with General Games that includes the following terms and conditions:

• We will never break a release date for preorders. Your items will ship on the day of release if possible.
• All orders subject to pricing and availability. If your item is unavailable we will contact you to provide further details where you can request a cancellation and refund. If there is a processing or data error on the product, we will also contact you before processing to remedy the situation.
• You must be at least the age of majority in your State or Territory to place orders from this website.
• Some high demand items will have their availability limited (for example 1 per customer). This is to ensure a fair distribution of these highly desirable items. If we find a customer attempting to order more items than we have set, we may cancel and refund the additional orders.
• We reserve the right to correct any errors found on our website without prior  notice, including but not limited to imagery, price, release dates, descriptions.
• All prices are subject to change without notice, along with availability of any items.
  
  
  
  

TCG and Sports Card Singles
General Games currently uses BinderPOS to list all our Card Singles. This ensures our singles are well priced and will move with market fluctuations.

Online Singles orders are processed from our Frankston Store and only available for “Click and Collect” from there.

Due to a high level of criminal activity, Online Singles purchases are considered final. If you wish to inspect any online card before purchase please contact the staff at our Frankston Store.

All cards listed will be condition graded to the best of our abilities, but please expect some minor variations.

Delivery

General Games uses Australia Post delivery services (Standard and Express), as well as “Click and Collect” pickup options.

We currently only sell to Australian customers and do not sell or ship to International customers.

General Games is not a warehouse. We are a collection of local “Bricks & Mortar” stores. All items shown on this website are located at one of the stores, so “Click and Collect” options will only be available if the item is “In Stock” at the store you have selected.

If your order includes items located at more than one store, you may be charged an additional Postage Fee, and these items will be sent individually from each store. If this is unacceptable to you, please contact us for alternative arrangements.

Currently, card singles shown on this website are only available for “Click and Collect” through our Frankston Store.

Once postage has been processed, you will be emailed an Australia Post tracking link.
Standard Post can take 2-10 business days, and Express Post 1-4 business days, but please expect delays during peak times (such as Christmas).
Please allow for 24 hours once your order has been sent to receive tracking information.

If your order is for “Preorder” items, it will be shipped on release date.

If your order contains both “Preorder” and regular items, it will be shipped in entirety once all items have reached their release date. If you want items shipped separately, either place individual orders for them or contact us using this link

We do not post Hazardous Materials (such as Spray Cans).

General Games takes no responsibility for damage caused by delivery via Australia Post.
If your item has arrived damaged in this way, please refer to the Australia Post Compensation Guidelines here: https://auspost.com.au/receiving/parcel-deliveries/compensation

Price Matching
If you wish us to price match an item, please contact us before placing any order.

Where possible, we will price match an item, or at least offer a better price to you on it.

We will not price match on these conditions:

- Prices on items outside of Australia or items showing large delivery costs.
- Prices from unauthorised or secondary market sellers.
- Items marked as “Online Only”
- Items showing as “Not In Stock” at the location.
- Items where the price would be at or below our cost price.

Linking This Website
General Games takes no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any third-party website we link to. You must not link to this website in any way that is damaging, misrepresenting or suggest any endorsement or approval that does not exist.

Australian Consumer Law.

General Games does not make any guarantees, warranties or representations about the
products, except those implied by Australian Consumer Law.

Prohibitions
You may not misuse this website in any way, including but not limited to committing or
encouraging criminal online activities, causing annoyance to other users, or infringing on the rights of General Games, our Customers or Suppliers.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of this Website or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

Indemnity

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted according to Australian law. All disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.

General Games will try to resolve any disputes or complaints when they first arise.
Please use the Webstore Contact Us form to inform us of any complaints you have.

If we are unable to resolve your complaint, we will engage with Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services before engaging courts.
