EVENT DETAILS
Time: 6:30pm Thursdays
Entry: $18 (1v1 Constructed), $30 (Draft)
Format:
- 1v1 Constructed:
Standard, 50 minute Bo3
3-4 Rounds of Swiss, Depending on Players
- Draft:
Booster Draft (Check ticket for which set/chaos draft, see below for draft rules)
45 minutes to draft & deckbuild, 3 Round of Swiss, 45 minute B01 (maximum 5 minutes in overtime).
Prizing:
1v1 Constructed - Flat 2 Boosters per person, plus a Promo Pack and a Flash Promo Card (while stocks last).
Draft - Flat Promo Pack and a Flash Promo Card per person (while stocks last).
*Booster pack prizing can include any TCG Booster with a retail value less than or equal to $9

Booster Draft Additional Rules:
In Booster Draft, each player receives three booster packs, and is assigned a seat in a pod (ideally 8 players, although attendance may cause this to vary slightly).
All players in a pod open a single booster pack simultaneously, discard the token/rune card, then look at the remaining 13 cards in their hand (if a pack has an error, such as an incorrect number of cards, the staff will replace the entire pack as per tournament rule 602.4.b.2.a.2.) - choosing one to take, and passing the rest to the player seated beside them (all players pass left for the first pack, right for the second, and left again for the third).
This process is repeated until all cards from the pack have been selected, and each player has 13 drafted cards in front of them. Then the pod opens the second pack, and repeats this process, then the third.
Finally, all players will have a pool of 39 drafted cards they've selected from the packs, and will use these to construct a deck with a minimum of 20 cards, within three domains. All drafted cards are considered to be the sideboard, and decks may be modified with these at any time in between games (or matches for Bo1).
As long as a card is within the three domains for the deck, all other usual restrictions on deck composition are ignored - e.g. players may include more than three copies of a card if they were able to draft them, or may include signature spells which do not match their legend.
Players will construct a rune deck within their domains from the runes provided by the store.
A draft deck is not required to have a legend and/or chosen champion, and if either or both are missing the player may draw an additional card at the start of their first turn.
Draft decks may select their battlefields from among their drafted cards, or opt to use "blank" battlefields (a facedown card can be used to represent this), which have no additional effects.
