General Games Chirnside is excited to be hosting a Prerelease event for the latest Pokemon TCG booster set - Pitch Black!
This is a fantastic entry point for new players, since you don't need to bring any cards in order to participate.
We highly recommend pre-purchasing your ticket for the event online or in-store to avoid missing out.

Tuesday 7th July, 2026 at 6:30pm
Saturday 11th July, 2026, at 12:00pm

Format:
Limited*
30 minutes Deckbuilding, 4 Rounds of Swiss, 30 minutes Bo1, with a maximum of 5 minutes of overtime.
*Additional Pre-Release rules*:
Decks must number precisely 40 cards, and games are played with four prize cards rather than the usual six.
Prizing:
Included in your entry fee is;
1 Build & Battle Box
3 additional Chaos Rising booster packs at the conclusion of the event, with an extra pack each for the top 3 placing players.
Other Important Information
Players will need a Pokemon Trainer Club ID (can be set up on the day if you don't have one already)
They will be expected to know at least the basics of the Pokemon TCG, and our friendly staff are more than happy to help any newer players get started in the event.
